Revenue Department officials say South Carolina is forgoing the annual mass mailing to people who don't file electronically. Spokeswoman Adrienne Fairwell says the decision will save $271,000 and help the agency "go green."

Go green indeed.

When calculated, the 240,000 million SC taxpayers who would need to drive to their nearest post office or other place where they can find the forms would cause 100+ times more "pollution" or "ungreen" emissions that allowing the US mail to deliver the booklets and forms as they already drive their routes.

What a farce.

You obviously read their "going green" with environmental intentions. Their intentions become clear when they mention they'll retain 271,000 green pictures of George Washington in their budget.
