Not a vet/military, but that was too easy. ID'ing a ma deuce is as easy for most military history buffs as recognizing a '57 Chevy is for a car freak. It was designed in the 20's, I think, as an anti-tank weapon (before the Germans developed the Panzer and threw a monkey wrench in the whole ATR idea).
