Democrats and Social Security
It is the Democrats who have "spent up" our Social Security trust fund.

A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate around 1964.

A: The Democratic Party. I remember this, still have my old returns to prove it.

A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the "tie-breaking" deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the U.S.

Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?
A: Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments. The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!
------------------- Then, after doing all this lying and thieving and violation of the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!
This type of lying deception is immoral. The Truth will prevail if enough people are not afraid to say it and pass the word. Don't let them steal everything good citizens have worked for. Vote.

The dems are the party of Jim Crowe laws, taxation and socialist values. If folks would educate themselves about it the Dems wouldn't stand a chance.
You are 'right on', Brooke ! We are the choir. If we sing loud and long enough, people will hear us. I think I'll buy a copy of Anne's new book. I read her last two.
Also, which party now insists there is nothing wrong with SS?
The intentional use of RED certainly is appropriate. I have kind of resented the Repuplican color changing from blue to it's present RED - so it is more than appropriate.
Regarding Brooke's comment, it is a shame that people have to educate themselves on these types of things. Perhaps if the schools did a better job of it; or the msm was actually unbiased; or people paid a little more attention....
SS, like immigration has gone by the wayside; and these guys think they're doing their jobs. It really galls me when you see how little they accomplish at the same time that they think the Iraqis are dragging their feet in picking themselves up.
Anonymous- I know facts are difficult to comprehend when your entire life is surrounded with "feelings" and drugs, but these are the facts, and recorded.

Just wanted to give you kudos for a good blog post. I wish more young people (my age, late 20's) would pay attention to facts like these.
