France turns right
Nicolas Sarkozy, the son of a Hungarian immigrant won his election against a socialist-communist. She stated that France would "blow up" if he, the conservative were to win. Mr. Sarkozy is much more friendly towards the USA than Chirac. Maybe now certain people will recognize that maybe now they are more in line with our policies.
It remains to be seen if the USA will turn socialist in 2008 with a Democratic President, or join our European friends in conservative thinking like: The Canadians, The Australians, The British, and now, The French!
Things take more time in Europe.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. I hope he's as friendly to the U.S. as we think he is.
